Bob has over 25 years of experience in strategic and operational consulting in energy, consumer and technology sectors.
Bob is a Founder of Bridge Strategy Group and a leader of the firm’s Energy practice. He has 25 years of consulting experience with strategic and operational issues, acquisitions and new ventures, and a client base of North American utilities, suppliers, and private equity investors.
His recent work is across a broad range of energy and technology-related topics- leading efforts in M&A, corporate and business unit strategy, distributed and renewable supply, generation portfolio strategy, natural gas and electric vehicles, smart grid, energy efficiency, and organizational restructuring.
Results for clients have included: the successful design and realization of a complex multi-state electric and gas utility M&A transaction; a corporate strategy that yielded the highest long-term shareholder return of any investor-owned utility; a generation project voted ‘Plant of the Year’; and a comprehensive plan that received the EEI Edison Award.
His publications include articles in Fortnightly, Electric Perspectives, World Energy, Electric Light & Power, American Gas, and Spark, and quotations in a wide range of media, and he has testified in state regulatory proceedings on M&A and smart grid. He is an active member of AGA, EEI, and the Clinton Global Initiative.
