Industry Director Team

Ernie was Director of Insurance for the State of South Carolina and president of the NAIC.  He serves as a Senior Advisor to Bridge Strategy Group's health and insurance practices. He currently teaches in the graduate level insurance program at The University of South Carolina, Moore School of Business.

Ernie is a Senior Advisor with Bridge Strategy Group's insurance and healthcare practices. He is also on the faculty of the University of South Carolina, Moore School of Business, as a Clinical Professor of Finance. Ernie is an experienced business leader and educator with significant global experience in the areas of insurance and financial services.

Prior to joining Bridge, he served as Co-Managing Director of a European merchant bank, as Chief Executive of a publicly-traded U.S. property and casualty insurance carrier, as Director of Insurance for the State of South Carolina, and as President of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). He also serves as Director on a number of different corporate Boards..
